Nathaniel Van Yperen is a teacher and writer. His writing is published or forthcoming in North American Review, Whitefish Review, Flyway, Miracle Monocle, The Common, and Sky Island Journal, among others. He is the author of Gratitude for the Wild: Christian Ethics in the Wilderness (Bloomsbury, 2019). He received the Ph.D. (Religion and Society), Th.M (Philosophy and Theology), and M.Div. from Princeton Theological Seminary. He teaches at The Pennington School.
